The founders of ATLA are Anna Trowbridge and Len Ashby – hence the title ATLA.  We are a small but extremely busy publisher with a specific interest in folk lore and history for children.

We very much enjoy sometimes publishing and promoting new talent, giving new writers a proper chance in this very competitive world.  We are not vanity publishers, i.e we do not charge for our services at any level and will never ask you for money.

We do not take phone messages and all submissions should be by e-mail to Read the submissions page carefully !
